Polkadot Patch Baby Boutique: Great baby gifts and more

It seems in this industry of children’s clothes, that many people are searching for designer baby clothes. Well, that’s all well and good and yes, we do have a selection of many designer baby clothes in our boutique. However, it is the NON “designers” that we feature that really bring us satisfaction. We love working with artisans and small cottage industries who create some exceptional products for children. These children’s clothes and gifts while they made not be common name brands, they sure have a lot to offer.

We have found that many artisans who create products are so connected to their work that their products are often higher quality, more original, and usually a lot more affordable than the “designer” counterparts. These items are often made with such love and care that it is obvious when seen or felt in person.

So, we pride ourselves in our unique selection of baby clothes and gifts. And even with the designer baby clothes…you’ll see our selection is always more colorful, fun, and childlike. We always hold true to our philosophy and while sometimes we try new product lines and styles, you can always count on Polkadot Patch for unique children’s clothes and gifts.

Every little girl needs an outfit that they are going to love as much as everyone else. And if you ask me, this funky line of little girls clothes has so many choices that both little girls and adults will go crazy for. Our new favorite brand, Land G, features monogrammed outfits for girls (as well as twin sets) that are unlike any other. Whether you choose to monogram or not, these designer clothes will definitely be a favorite.

When you see this groovy retro stripes outfit, how can you not resist it? If you want your little girl to be noticed…she sure will when wearing this! For some it may be WAAAYYY too much, but here at Polkadot Patch, the more colorful and funky it is…the more we love it. And we LOVE this little girls outfit! Now if adult clothes could be as fun as these little girls clothes, we might just have to have a Polkadot Patch women’s shop!

My children love to fly around the house. And many days we end up attaching blankets, pillowcases, and even t-shirts to the back of their clothing for their superhero capes. BUT…after this week, no more! These kids are going to fly around the house and yard in style with these adorable superhero capes! At first blush, the price is a lot higher than a pillow case, but boy, do they really bring the imagination alive. These capes are such high quality with satin on the outside and a soft velvety velour on the inside. They snap at the neckline so they stay put for all save-the-world adventures. Honestly, they have been wearing them almost non-stop. Restaurants, family events, dinner, and bedtime…if we’d let them. Worth the extra money for bring flying dreams alive!

Every now and then our baby boutique need to change things up! And we are under going some obvious changes to our store and also some improvements behind the scenes.

Our first obvious change on our homepage is our new model. We love our new look and the model did a fantastic job!  We hope to feature different models in the future and show how our children’s clothes look great on every child!

In addition we continue to add new baby clothes and baby gifts on a daily basis. We have some great new styles arriving and we are excited to debut tomorrow an exciting new line of personalized clothes.

We love finding unique and fun products for our store. While we are actively in the process of expanding our baby gifts section, we were thrilled to discover these small knit toys. These toys make perfect baby gifts that are practical and fun for both boys and girls. With fun styles including all sorts of animals (bugs, cats, fish, and more) to my favorite, the aliens, these handcrafted toys are high quality and perfect for little hands.

Now lucy the ladybug rattle is one of those rattles that baby won’t be able to put down. She’s cute and her crocheted texture will keep baby’s senses stimulated.

When you are in the midst of drab winter, nothing brings on a bigger smile and thoughts of spring than unpacking shipments of cute spring baby clothes. I have to say the adorable shorts sets, tank dresses, and baby rompers in tropical prints, bright summer colors, and lightweight fabrics makes me yearn for summer. But…living here in Vermont, you have to embrace the winter and celebrate it.

So even though temps are saying below freezing, we’re thinking warm thoughts here and enjoying the cold all at the same time. Can that even be done?

It’s time to move some items out of our store to make room for our incoming spring items. As a result, there are some great savings to be had at our winter clearance sale on most of our winter items. We are marking down items daily so check back often. BUT….the sizing and quantites are limited. If you see something, don’t delay because it could be gone before you know it!

In the meantime, we are quickly adding our new arrivals to the store. We are seeing shipments of shorts and bubble rompers and t-shirts arriving daily. We are so excited to debut our first Polkadot Patch brand of clothing. This is the first of new items that we will be introducing that will have our own unique label. So exciting for our baby boutique! These handknit personalized sweaters are colorful and bright and the type of sweater a child wants to wear every day. Our favorite is the polkadot and stripes one. The combination of the lime green and pink and white is so appealing to the eye and doesn’t a little girl just look adorable in polka dots AND stripes. Love that! These sweaters are the highest of quality and style.

Our baby clothes boutique only delivers the highest quality of products in the most colorful designs. It’s what we do and what we believe in!

It seems every winter we are sitting here with a foot of snow outside, minus 5 degree weather, and then….a box of spring and summer baby clothes arrive! Yikes…it’s enough to drive us mad! It feels crazy to open a box of girls dresses and boys shorts sets when the kids are sledding, skating, snowboarding, and sipping cocoa.

But it’s that time of year again. It is fun, I do admit, to see the great items we picked out so long ago. It does make us wish for spring somewhat, but we do, enjoy the cold winter weather too.

So…that also means that winter baby clothes and baby gifts will begin to get marked down and moved to our baby boutique sale page. Check back often because in the next few weeks…prices will be dropping as quickly as the temperature here in Vermont!

It’s pretty funny…one of my kiddos actually received a Mimi The Sardine Apron for Christmas this year. She absolutely loved it. She’s been wearing it around the house just because she loves it. These adorable children’s aprons are perfect for cooking, art projects, or simply wearing around the house. And they are just SO cute. The fabrics are bright and cheery and as fun as any cooking or art project they might come up with! One of our new favorites is this unisex frog apron. These great aprons are perfect for gifts and also for a just-because gift.
