Polkadot Patch Baby Boutique: Great baby gifts and more

We have been receiving SO much positive feedback lately from customers and I can’t even tell you how much that means to us! Not that I want to brag, BUT…lately customers have been telling us about how much they enjoy shopping our store, they love our unique selection, and appreciate our excellent customer service. That’s pretty much sums up our goal and mission for our store. So when someone actually takes the time to contact us and provide us with positive feedback…boy!…that really is affirming.

So many times it seems it’s so easy to complain about a negative experience, but when someone takes the time and energy to provide an unsolicited positive….WOW!

So thank you customers for the encouragement and motivation to keep our store as the leading online baby store featuring unique, funky, and colorful baby clothes and gifts!

This embroidered onesie is absolutely hilarious. And for most households I know….it speaks the TRUTH! The I’m the boss onesie let’s the world know who really is in charge! It’s a perfect unisex baby gift and always gets lots of giggles and knowing nods and smirks at every baby shower. It’s SOOOO fun!

So every week (or 10 days or so) we like to offer our customers a special sale on a particular brand. Our weekly sale page is a great incentive to us to see how customers will respond to a specific sale (or brand) and at the same time, our customers can save money on unique baby clothes and gifts! The sale often features brands that are regulars in our store and often aren’t discounted other than a special sale or promotion.

Tonight in fact, we are changing our weekly sale to Little Worm personalized plates. These make amazing baby gifts that are customized for every little girl or boy. And they are just TOO cute!

So every now and then we find a quote-unquote “traditional” boy vs. girl baby gift. Usually we shy away from the traditional pink and blue because there is just so much stereotyping for babies with these colors. But then…we find an incredible artisan created piece as these Morado custom embroidered baby birth announcements. We’re pushing for more gender neutral colors for babies and hopefully will get one soon, but these are too beautiful to pass up.

This is by far one of the most extraordinary birth announcements I’ve seen. There are 16 pieces that are customized for a newborn including the name, date, birth location and more. It’s one of those pieces that make such an impression on a new parent and one that will be a keepsake item for the child. It even comes framed and ready to hang on baby’s wall. Just so precious!

I personally love it and hope to give one for a gift for my next baby gift.

We love when summer finally arrives in Vermont. Not that warm weather is here now…but seeing all these adorable summer clothes arriving is just too inspiring! We just spent the day today getting more of our summer clothes in our store including tank dresses and shorts sets. It can be a daunting task to get all the new items into our store, but once they are there…we love what each outfit adds to the store.

And believe it or not…there is even a lot MORE to get listed in the store. Every day, there is a lot of work to do and every day our store is growing. Now that is exciting!

My little girl absolutely loves animals. And finding little girls clothes that depict more than kitty cats, unicorns, and big eyed puppy dogs is always a challenge. So when this adorable BLUE dress featured a fun gecko lizard, we were jumping in down in our seats! Talk about progressive thinking!

This adorable bright blue lizard tank dress from Agi Designs is so fun. The crocheted lizard on the front will make any female herpetologist proud! Or…it will simply be one of those pieces of clothing that challenges the stereotype of girls clothes. Either way, we love it!

We just received in a shipment of probably the most funky, funky kids clothes we have found yet to date. These clothes are so vivid and fun! They scream “we’re kids and we know it!” They embody the spirit of childhood with crazy patterns, polka dots, and stripes. Intrigued?

We hope to have these funky kids clothes in our store by the end of next week. You won’t be able to miss them on our new arrivals page. They will “POP” off the page! Until then…we’re keeping them under wraps!

On a side note, we’ve begun our search for the unique and funky clothes and gifts for the fall. We are excited about what we have found so far and can’t wait to begin ordering these beautiful clothes. For us, it’s all about being unique and fresh and when you see the styles and selections we’ll be bringing to the Patch…you can bet that the Patch will have clothes like no other store around!

Once of the most exciting aspects for me of owning a children’s store is the hunt for the new & exciting products! I love finding items for our customers that are so fresh, unique, and have that “WOW” or “GOTTA HAVE IT” appeal. In fact, just in the past few days, we’ve received some pretty incredible feedback from customers who love our selection and inventory. That’s always so rewarding to hear and makes us strive to find only the most funky and unique clothes and gifts for babies and children!

So now…we’re off to New York to search for more of the new brands that will challenge the mainstream stores and salute the individuality of children.

 And let me tell you…it’s exhausting work….but FUN!

Ohh….ahh….oh my….look at the glitter and glam on this shirt! This adorable Baby Melon personalized shirt will have her seeing her name in lights…or at least Swarovski crystals. It will sparkle and shine as much as her personality and her eyes! It really is something to see in person and definitely makes an impression!

The shirt is individually handcrafted and I can’t even imagine hand setting each of the crystals. Truly someone who has a lot of patience and dedication makes these shirts!

It’s a fun, custom shirt that she’ll be proud to wear and will certainly become one of her favorites! I even think it would be so cute to put a nickname, favorite saying, or even a fun descriptive word on it. Think “muffin” or “diva” or if it was my daughter “sassy”!
