Polkadot Patch Baby Boutique: Great baby gifts and more

I am beginning to become more of a fan of personalized items for children. I never really got it until I had my own kids and saw how much they love seeing their own name on things. So when we saw these incredible, handpainted ceramic plates that are customized…they became our newest must-have! This custom lion plate is probably my favorite. I love the colors and the sweet, happy face of the lion. It’s simple, but yet children really respond to it. I wonder what people would think if I had these plates for my every day dishes?

When it comes to absolutely adorable little girls clothing…you can’t resist Molly & Millie’s clothing. These clothes are such high quality, SOOO colorful and absolutely adorable. This is one of my personal favorites for the summer. I love this girls fish shorts outfit for it’s bold colors and fun style. I can just imagine a little girl playing in a sandbox, running around the yard, or swinging as high as the breeze will take her! It’s perfect for playing and perfect for any summer activities!

Sometimes I see things that are so adorable that I wish I could get them in my size. This is the case with this very cute bumbleebee baby blanket from Babybeansprout. I am a sucker for gingham as it is, but when matched with the two adorable bees and bold colors, I just wish I could get this to fit my adult bed!

I also love it because it’s totally gender neutral and still is very cute. And what’s more is that it’s not green or yellow for traditional unisex baby blankets. So cute.

I have to say that one of my all time favorite clothing brands for babies is Sozo. These clothes are everything that I love about children’s clothing. They are bright, fun, childlike, and just so darn cute on every little baby. Just even seeing them almost makes me want another baby!

This fun little Cheeky Monkey shorts set is too cute. It has a darling little monkey on the front and I just love the colors. I’d even put this on a little girl, but I think *most* people would rather see them on a litte boy. I don’t know…my youngest daughter is very cheeky and I think this would fit her to a tee.

If you know me…you know I’m partial to animal prints. I love the look of giraffe, leopard, tiger, snow tiger, zebra…you name it. So when we found this funky little girls Cool Babies monogrammed shirt…I knew it was a must-have. Who can resist seeing a little girl wearing her initial in a fun zebra print? I know I can’t! What is even more fun is the matching bow or Pony O’s. These are the first we’ve ever seen of these unique hair accessories. These fabric covered pony tail holders are embroidered to match the letter and any combination of letters can be shown. So cute and original. And being a funky zebra shirt ….really, how can anyone resist?

We are starting to unpack shipments of the most adorable clothes for spring. It is always like Christmas morning (minus the wrapping paper and screaming) to open a box of fun clothing that was ordered so long ago. We do have a lot of squeals of delight when we find a forgotten style that we love or a color combination that is so fresh. It’s probably one of my most favorite parts…buying the clothing and opening the boxes. Now the hard work starts with getting all of the products into the store. But….we shall prevail and in no time, Polkadot Patch Boutique will be brimming with all sorts of fun clothing that is perfect for spring and summer.

 Now…I’m off to shovel snow!
