Funky hand knit baby and children’s winter hats are in!
We can’t say enough praise for these funky & fun handknit wool hats from Auntie Jenny. The hats come in four different sizes: newborn, infant, toddler, and preschool and we might just have to get a couple in adult sizes! (I’m going for the orange polka dot hat as seen below!) These hats are super soft, and so warm! And here in Vermont, we know about keeping warm so we speak from experience! The hats meet our philosophy in every way and really are so colorful and fun in person.

We have received many new fall clothes and more!
Things are starting to get busy at Polkadot Patch! We’re starting to receive many of our fall orders and it’s just a matter of getting them all on the site. That’s a lot of work to do: photography, writing descriptions, setting up the inventory, uploading, and more. But…it’s oh-so-exciting to have the boxes arrive and to unpack all the clothes we ordered months and months ago.
So in the next few weeks we will have our Le Fromage et l’orange, Zutano, Flap Happy, and more in our new arrivals section of our site.
We have just listed a few new items from one of our favorite brands, Chicken Noodle. We now have two outfits featuring the most funky and fun red swirly fur. For older girls there is a jumper dress and for toddlers is an overall/romper style. Both come with coordinating striped shirts and feature a frolicking, fun kitty cat that is sure to make anyone smile.

One of the most unique children’s clothing brands we’ve found…
We just received one of the most unique children’s shirts we’ve come across. The shirt is a very fun Morfs monkey shirt. This shirt is made from the traditional sock monkey doll and the large monkey is front and center on the shirt. We think these are so fun and perfect for either a boy or girl! The shirts are so original that even though we search high and low for children’s clothes, we’ve found nothing else like this!
The fall children’s clothes are arriving!
We are thrilled that our fall clothing is starting to arrive. It’s so exciting when the delivery truck comes to the office and we love opening the boxes to see what we ordered so long ago!
We just got in this funky girls dress from Leopard Daisy. It’s sumptuous and delicious in it’s textures and colors. What a great combination of orange and chocolate brown. This dress is from Leopard Daisy which is a division of My Vintage Baby. This line has steped up very hip and chick little girls clothes!
Every person who has seen this dress, just can’t stop raving over it. We expect it to be a great addition to any little girl’s wardrobe. And what’s more there is a funky big bow that matches!
Been on a well needed vacation!
Phew! It’s been a long time since we’ve put on a blog message. We’ve been taking a well needed vacation and believe it or not…we didn’t even take our computers! That’s a first!
But now we’re ready to go and we’re getting excited about all of our fall inventory that is starting to arrive. We have a bunch ready to go and hope to get it all on the site this week.
In the meantime, it’s been fun seeing the reponses to our weekly sale page. Every week we are featuring a brand, a special discount, or some other fun surprise to discount. The special runs for one week and then it’s gone. Last week we ran a discount for gift certificates and this week we are discounting our fabulous handcrafted Vermont teddy bears. Next week will be something else fun, which is yet to be decided!
Our TO DO list keeps growing, but we love how Polkadot Patch is growing as well.
